Queensmen itself is one of the longest-standing football clubs in the country, but the use of its ground had diminished and we really wanted to reinvigorate it and create some accessible football for the huge number of children in Ampthill and the surrounding villages that have a love for the game.

Queensmen Youth FC Community Interest Company was created with the objective to reinvest in the club, grounds and teams and create a long-term offering of youth grassroots football for many generations.

We wanted to retain the history of the club, keeping its heritage and values close to the heart of Queensmen Youth FC and the children and families that will gain from it. 

The Queensmen Youth FC Committee are a handful of parents who are now running a football club, all giving their time and efforts for free, we have no big grants or funds, but what we do have is a passion for grassroots football and to see our and your children running around with their teammates, smiling with a ball at their feet.

We aren’t going mad and adding a million teams at once, we want to get this right and ensure we provide good-quality pitches and equipment and create a club to be proud of. 

We would absolutely love for you, our local community to be a part of that, whether that’s to stop and watch a game when you are walking past, hopefully join our club in the future as we grow, or for now just liking our Facebook page would be amazing. It will help us as we look to gain sponsors and funding for the future.
